JAMMU: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) hailed the decision of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for announcing free education for girls in the State Government schools.
In a statement issued here on Friday, General Secretary AIBCU, Prof Kali Dass said this step will encourage girls belonging to poor section of society for actively receiving education. He also expressed concern over the shortage of teachers and masters in the government schools which directly affected upon the standard of education.
He urged upon the government to fill all the vacant posts at every level so that the children in the school can get proper education.
