Vibodh takes stock of damage due to Pak firing

RAJOURI: A delegation of BJP leaders led by MLC Vibodh Gupta on Thursday visited Nika Panjgrian, Trikundi, Panjgrian, Peryali and Manjakote border villages of Rajouri and took stock of the damage being caused to the life and property of the border residents. The recent unproved firing by Pakistan rangers in various border villages is leading to huge loss to the migrants of various remote villages in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
During this visit MLC Vibodh patiently heard the sufferings narrated by individual families in the area. The locals informed that due to heavy shelling the animals of many families have been injured. In many cases the visiting delegation was shown the agricultural fields damaged as a result of current turmoil. In two cases the whole fodder stock of the villagers were burnt as a result of Pak shelling. Under these circumstances the livelihood of these poor and vulnerable border residents is under sever threat.
Addressing a gathering at Trikundi village MLC Vibodh said that he and his party holds very high esteem for the border migrants for the great service these people are rendering to the nation. The residents of border villages are standing neck to neck with our brave soldiers who are giving a befitting reply to the Pakistani rangers for their nefarious designs. He assured the locals that he will take their voice to the senior party leaders and to the concerned ministers in the Government so that these losses are suitably compensated.
Reacting to the demand of permanent bunkers for the border people, MLC informed the gathering that CM Mehbooba Mufti also shares this concern and this is the main reason that she has also recently announced the construction of permanent bunkers for the border people. Overall MLC Vibodh ensured the villagers that Government stands fully committed towards the problems of border people for all the sacrifices which these people have made for the nation.
