JAMMU: Jammu District Indian Style Wrestling Championship, organised by Jammu District Association and sponsored by J and K State Sports Council, shall be held on 3rd December at Bana Singh Stadium, R S Pura, near here.
This was decided in a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of State President, Shiv Kumar Sharma, here on Thursday.
The weigh-in of the registered participants shall take place at 10 am at the given venue, followed by the bouts from 11:00 AM onwards. The competition shall be held in seven weight categories of 55 Kg, 61Kg, 67Kg, 75Kg, 85Kg, 97Kg and up to 120 Kg, a handout issued here today informed.
