JAMMU: Staff Officer to Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K, M.Y Kichloo, SSP on Wednesday flagged off a group of 46 players of volleyball, basketball and handball participating in 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster-2016
The five-day-long Volleyball Cluster is being organized by Andhra Pradesh Police at Vishakapatnam from 28th November to 2nd December. The teams shall leave for Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
The volleyball, basketball and handball teams are participating in the event under the supervision of coaches Inspector Sajad Hussain, SI (S) Rohit Chibber and SI Dheeraj Nagpal respectively.
Kichloo, SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K briefed the participating teams to maintain the decorum and sprit of the game in the event and to uphold the sanctity of sportsmanship.
He also conveyed to the participating teams that ADGP Armed J&K L. Mohanti assured that J&K Police will provide all required support to participating teams for their successful participation in the event . Staff Officer wished the participating teams best of luck for their successful participation in the 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster-2016. The Flag off ceremony, among others, was attended by Junaid Wali, DySP (Pers) APHQ and Jigmet Lhundup DySP (Sports) APHQ J&K.
