Reasi: Policeon Monday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing four bovines and arresting a smuggler.
As per the details, a specific information was received at Police Station Arnas that some persons were on way along with bovines loaded in a TATA Mobile (JK20-7812) towards Kashmir valley via Bassan Gool without any legal permission. On this, a police team from Police Station Arnas and SPP Bassan led by Inspector Romal Singh, SHO Police Station Arnas laid a special Naka at Bassan and rescued four bovines from the possession of Mohd Nissar son of Lalsi resident of Kund Tehsil Mahore District Reasi (driver of the vehicle). The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No.61/2016 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Arnas.
