BILLAWAR: Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC remembered Indira Gandhi former Prime Minister and a dynamic, visionary leader who leads the nation in all adverse and tough times taking ahead the country in many fields.
Dr Sharma remember the leadership of Gandhi for her bold and visionary decisions by which the country touch new heights namely the green revolution , the war of 1971 in which the Pakistan was divided in to two parts and taught lesson to Pakistan, white revolution (Milk production touch to new heights), the banking system reorganize and brought on new schedule for the betterment and economical stability and discipiline the most favoured and widely accepted decisions by the people of the India. Her deep political understanding in national and international matters and her visionary decisions make India proud and Smt Gandhi as widely accepted leader in the world. Dr Sharma further remembers her initiatives to eradicate poverty and efforts to provide each Indian food and shelter. District Congress Committee Kathua organised a function at Hiranagar to celebrate the 99th birth anniversary of Indra Gandhi Former Prime Minister of India. Subash Gupta Former MLC and President District Congress Committee Kathua presided over the function where as large number of Congress workers participated in the function and paid floral tributes.

RAMBAN: Ramban District Congress Commitee (Women Wing) led by its District President, Narinder Kour celebrated the 99th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Indra Gandhi, today.
On the occasion besides Narinder Kour, Lok Sabha Vice President Youth Congress, Rashid Malik, Congress Block President, Batote, Chuni Lal Goswami, senior Congress leaders Janak Singh, Darshan Chand, Zahida Katoch and Seema Devi offered their floral tributes to the former Prime Minister.
BHADARWAH- To celebrate Birth anniversary of Former Prime Minister Indra Gandhi, Distt Congress Committee (DCC) Doda organized a function at Bhadarwah on Saturday.
The function was organized here as part of year-long celebration on her 100th birth anniversary under the Chairmanship of Distt President MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta in which workers and office bearers from Distt-Doda participated.
On the occasion Floral tributes were placed before the portrait of Gandhi by MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta followed by other senior Congress leaders and party’s office bearers.

UDHAMPUR: Workers of District Congress Committee (DCC) paid tributes to Late Indira Gandhi on her 99th birth anniversary in Udhampur on Saturday. While paying tributes to her workers recalled her ever memorable contribution made by her to take nation towards era of development and prosperity during her long regime.
