Four injured in accidents

SRINAGAR: Four persons were injured in two different road accidents in Shopian and Awantipora. In Shopian, a Maruti-800 car bearing registration number DL8CX-0165 hit and injured two pedestrians Nazir Ahmad Chopan and Abdul Rashid Bakshi, residents of Keller at Moshwara in the jurisdiction of Police Station Keller. Both the injured were shifted to Srinagar Hospital for treatment. In Awantipora, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01M- 7824 driven by Jahangir Ahmad Mir, resident of Nowpora Awantipora and an auto load carrier driven by Rashid Shafi Dar, resident of Dogripora collided at Charsoo, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion Jahangir Ahmad Mir resident of Nowpora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police registered a case in this regard.
