SRINAGAR: The 3×3 Open Basketball Champi-onship concluded here at Basketball court of indoor stadium here. Chief Guest, Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar appreciated the efforts of Sports Council and said that such tournaments should be held in future also. Secretary Sports Council, Waheed ur Rehman Para said that they are fully committed to promote sports culture and integrating it with health and education. He further added that the doors of Sports Council will always remain open for the aspiring youth who want to join Sports.
Naeem Akhtar said that the government is desperate to work with youth, where youth are eager for sports and are shunning the drug addictions. OSD Sports Council, Mushtaq Ahmed, Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, Mustaq Ahmad, Chief Sports Officer, Haji Abdul Qayoom, Sports Officer Central, Nuzhat Ara, Manager Bakshi Stadium Nusrat Gazala, Manager Indoor Stadium Tulal Ahmad and coaches and officials of the Sports Council were also present.
