RAJOURI: Police on Monday foiled a bovine smuggling bid bids by rescuing 34 bovines and seized two trucks.
As per the details, Rajouri Police led by SHO Police Station Sunderbani Inspector Ravinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Nawaz Ahmed on the direction of SSP Rajouri Atul Sharma, , during intervening night of 30th -31st October 2016, laid a Naka/checking at ITI Sunderbani. During Naka checking, police seized two trucks (JK02AS-1257 and HP38C-7349) and rescued 34 bovines, however drivers of the vehicle fled away from the spot due to darkness.
A case vide FIR Nos.71/2016, 72/2016 under section 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA was registered at Police Station Sunderbani.
