POONCH: Pinto Club shall be playing against Manjit Club in the final of the ongoing volleyball tournament, organised by 93 Infantry Brigade of the Army under Operation Sadhbhavna at Sports Stadium, here on Saturday.
Earlier, in the semifinals, played on Friday, Pinto Club beat LOC Club Jhalian in straight sets of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19 while Manjit Club trounced Kalai Club 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 26-24, 15-13) in a closely contested game.
Today’s semifinals were witnessed besides others by Lt. Col. C.B Balwara, Sham Lal Sharma, Krishan Lal Sharma, Prem Prakash Luthra, Ram Prakash, Narjeet Singh and Subedar Sheetal.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel including Neeraj Sharma, Sourab Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Ram Prakash, T.S Toofan and Bal Krishan.
