R S PURA: Police on Tuesday arrested a notorious criminal and recovered a Khokhri from his possession. According to report, acting on a specific information received by SHO Police Station R S Pura, a police team on patrolling duty at Sunderpur Morh, R S Pura arrested one notorious criminal namely Rahul Kumar, son of Darshan Lal, resident of Chak Mohammad Yar and recovered one Khokhri from his possession.
Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 157/2016 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station R S Pura and inquest proceedings were started. During the preliminary enquiry from accused it has come to surface that he was on his way to commit a major crime. Moreover the said accused is also involved in other cases including FIR No 38/2014 under sections 341 and 323 RPC 4/25 Arms Act, FIR No. 105/2015 under sections 458, 354, 323, 509 and 336 RPC, FIR No. 57/2015 under sections 341, 323 and 325 RPC and FIR No. 27/2016 under sections 307, 341, 323, 147 and 149 RPC 4/25 Arms Act. His arrest was also wanted since long in above mentioned cases.
