HPS hands over Rs 80,000 to HelpAge India

BARI BRAHMANA: Humanity Public School (HPS), Bassi Kalan, raised a fund amounting to Rs 80,000 for HelpAge India, an organisation working for the welfare of senior citizens. The cheque was handed over to the Help Age India by Principal of the School, Gaurav Charak in the presence of Vice Principal, Anku Charak, Sandeep Zutshi (Incharge) and Rekha Mehra (Co-ordinator).
Principal said, “We must collectively help the needy and elderly people as they cannot wait for tomorrow, so support the elderly today, so that we can overcome their sorrows to some extent.”
Appreciating such effort of the school students, Senior Executive of Help Age India Neeru Khajuria said that this is big contribution by the students and their staff for elderly persons who are helpless.
