KATRA: Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), S.K Jain congratulated and wished the volleyball and chess team good luck for their matches in Association of Indian Universities (AIU) North Zone.
Volleyball team, which won several competitions in the Inter and Intra University events, is going to Punjabi University, Patiala along with sports coach Sucha Singh.
Team: Siddhant Sharma (C), Dheeraj Sharma, Sahil Bhardwaj, Ashutosh Khajuria, Swapnil Kumar, Sahil Sharma, Saurabh Sawhney, Manuj Sharma, Vikram Rana, Vikas Kumar, Deepak Jha and Rushal Verma.
Chess team, comprising of national players with ratings more than 2100, is going to Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar along with Sports Coach Sumit Sharma.
Team: Sameer Sengar (C), Pranav Sharma, Durgesh Satyam, Prayalankar Ashutosh, Abhishek Bundela and Shri Krishna Singh.
