Kept Kashmir Valley boiling for more than 90 days, today the masterminds for instigating and keeping the unrest continuing Hurriyat leaders are nowhere to be heard and seen. They may be under house arrest as precautionary step by the government and they are silent because their masters across the border have asked them to be so. Confined to safety of four walls they have been issuing weekly protest calendar so that the unrest continues and resentment brews further among the people who have been the worst affected and not these Hurriyat leaders. For Pakistan and Hurriyat keeping Kashmir on boil is a money earning business. Kashmir is a “money making machine” for the Pakistani Army which wants to maintain status quo in the Valley. Pakistan occupies one third of Kashmir and has been exploiting resources in Gilgit Baltistan, without paying royalty or compensation. So Pakistan would prefer to maintain a status quo in Kashmir. Pakistan, which calls for implementation of the UN Security Council resolution for a plebiscite, is not fulfilling its first perquisite, which is that Pakistan should vacate the area and hand it over to India. The double talk that has been practiced by Pakistan and Hurriyat leaders has not changed an iota of it till date. So much so the surgical strike too had created mild reaction from the pro-Pakistan groups in Kashmir Valley. One at times doubts that religion comes first or the nationality. These tricky foxes have manipulated the situation so well for their own and their dependents benefits, the so-called Messiah of Kashmiri people have not once sacrificed their comforts. They take religion as an armour to fight the Indian Government while enjoying all the perks from it. What a hypocrisy? Seeing the dicey situation prevailing in the Valley they have maintained a stoic silence to escape the wrath of the people and time.
