JAMMU: A special assembly was organised in the JK Public School Kunjwani to commemorate the Air Force Day which falls on 8th October.
Angad of Class IV led the assembly while Aayushman spoke about the contributions of Indian Air Force in the nation’s defence. Later on Navjyot of Class IV recited a poem highlighting the motto of Indian Air Force ‘Touch the Sky with Glory’ which means that Indian Air Force aims to fight enemies by using air power to defend the nation.
The Principal, S.K Singh, said that we should not seek the path of comfort but face the stress and strain of any challenge and thus learn to stand up to any difficulties. The students were also inspired to serve the nation by joining Indian Air Force. They were exhorted to follow “Accept the Challenge, Be the Warrior” to be successful in life.
