ADGP Sahai transferred to Delhi, IGP Mir to head CID

SRINAGAR: The State Government has transferred Additional Director General of Police (CID) S M Sahai as ADG (Co-ordination) in the office of Resident Commissioner, Delhi.
With Sahai’s transfer to Delhi, IGP A G Mir will formally take over as the head of the CID wing.
An order to this effect has been issued by the Home Department, which states, “He (Sahay) shall attend to all co-ordination related matters, as may be assigned to him, from time to time, by the Home Department.”
The order issued by Principal Secretary (Home) R K Goyal further reads that one post of IPS cadre of J&K, at the level of ADGP has also been temporarily transferred to the office of Resident Commissioner Delhi for the purpose of withdrawal of salary of the officer, till such time, the post is held by the officer.
