NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unveiled the trophy for the BRICS U-17 football tournament, scheduled to be held in the west Indian state of Goa from October 5 to 15.
The MoS (I/C) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vijay Goel and the President of the All India Football Federation, Praful Patel, were present on the occasion. Ambassadors from BRICS countries were also present.
Wishing the tournament a grand success, the Prime Minister had said that he was confident that it would meet its objective of facilitating greater understanding and friendship amongst all participants.(PTI)
