UDHAMPUR: Mahi Kailu to face Sudansh Verma in sub junior boys while Shalu to meet Anju in junior girls finals in the ongoing Third District Open Table Tennis Championship being organised by Udhampur Table Tennis Academy in the Academy Hall, here on Saturday.
Earlier, in semifinals played on Friday, Mahi Kailu beat Abhay Mahajan 2-1 and Sudansh Verma defeated Harshit Ramotra 2-1 in sub juniors boys while in junior girls, Shalu trounced Amriti Thakur 2-1 and Anju blanked Sunali 2-1.
Others results:
BOYS Junior: Rajesh Daya beat Gourav Sharma 2-0 and Sahil Magotra defeated Anish 2-1 in semi-finals. Senior: Harshit Ramotra beat Ansh Mahajan 2-0 and Mahi Kailu defeated Prikshit Bandral 2-1.
GIRLS Senior: Purvi Sharma beat Neha Sharma 2-1, Parul Sharma defeated Shriya Gupta 2-0 and Lalita trounced Diksha 2-1.
The events were played today under the supervision of Organising Committee comprising Kumar Tarun (President), Ankit Sharma (General Secretary), Sunny Sharma (Vice President) and Prikshit Khajuria (Joint Secretary).
Matches were officiated by Ankit Sharma, Akhil Bandral, Prikshit Khajuria and Sunny Sharma.
