Constitute one Shrine Board for all Hindu shrines: KD

JAMMU: Exhorting on creation of one Board of all Hindu Shrines and Temples, State President Kranti Dal (KD), Jammu and Kashmir, Pritam Sharma said that the need of the hour is that government must come forward and create one beard of all Hindu Shrines and others which are still under the control of Dharmarth Trust.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Sharma flanked with Thakur Karnail Chand, President KD Mazdoor Sangh, said that Dharmarth Trust has lost its relevance and now its functioning is namesake which has directly negative impact on the Hindu religion and Hindu Shrines, and it is matter of worry.
He said that Hindus now want one Shrine Board for all Hindu Religion Shrines, so that they may come on one platform and avoid the division on the name of shrines.
Mentioning about the direct advantage of creating one Board for all Hindu Shrines in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that such step will boost tourism in the State in general and Jammu in particular. He said that tourism trade in Jammu is on ventilator with the rail extension from Jammu to Katra but creation of one Board will be a meticulous step to restore the tourism trade in Jammu.
Kranti Dal alleged that there is no agency to check the misuse of temples and shrine funds in the State.
