NC SC Cell blames PDP-BJP coalition for Kashmir crisis

JAMMU: The SC Cell of National Conference (NC) assailed the PDP-BJP Coali-tion Government in Jammu and Kashmir for miserably failing on all fronts, saying that mishandling situation in the Valley has caused colossal human loss and sufferings to the entire population. The Coalition Government, the Co-Chairman of the Cell, Vijay Lochan said, while addressing the office bearers at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan, has brought the situation to such a morass where from exit has almost become difficult. He, however, hailed the initiatives of NC Working President Omar Abdullah and the opposition parties in highlighting political dimensions of Kashmir issue and emphasising the need for addressing these earnestly.
Lochan hoped that the All Parties Delegation will meet all the stake holders in order to reach consensus to solve political problems, which he described imperative for ensuring lasting peace in the region. The cell expressed concern over difficult situation under which the state is passing through, which has resulted in economic activity coming to standstill and the security of people getting jeopardised. Lochan urged the administration to attend to the problems confronted to the people on account of power, drinking water, rations and other utility services.
