JAMMU: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray on Thursday announced that Chhari Yatra on the eve of 1st Navratra as per old traditions will start from MM Stadium on 1st October to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
While talking to media persons, State President of the Party, Dimpy Kohli said that like every year this time also thousands of devotes will take part in it as tradition.
“Some anti-social elements are misguiding the general public about the Charri Yatra and are misusing the name of Shiv Sena for organising the same,” he said. He added that party has nominated senior leader Sandeep Bhagat as Incharge of the Yatra. He made an appeal to district administration to cooperate with the party in organising this Charri Yatra. He also appealed to general public to take part in Charri Yatra and took blessings of Maa Durga. Raj Singh and others were also present in the press conference.
