Futile dialogue

0 92

Dear Editor,
It is futile and frustrating to have a dialogue with Pakistan which thinks that if there is a dialogue on Kashmir, then Kashmir suddenly is disputed territory.
India should point out the words of former Pakistani Prime Minister Zulifikar Ali Bhutto. In the after math of the 1971 war, India had captured more than many Pakistani soldiers and a large territory. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi released those prisoners of war, and Bhutto had said that in return Pakistan would recognise the status quo of the present boundary.
Gandhi believed Bhutto who later went back on his word. This is Pakistan’s history of denial, deceit, and hypocrisy.
Pakistan also continues to spread unrest and mayhem in Kashmir, by supplying arms and ammunition to terrorists in the Valley, and preaching Jihad against India.
