UDHAMPUR: Army Public School (APS) Udhampur clinched the Northern Command APS Football tournament trophy by defeating APS Akhnoor by 4-2 in the final played, here on Tuesday.
In the tournament teams from APS Udhampur, Dhar Road, Akhnoor, Rakhmuthi and Nagrota took part.

In the closing ceremony, Chief Guest, Brig Manoj Mohan, Chairman APS Udhampur, gave away prizes to winner and runner up teams. He exhorted the students to play games and remain healthy. Adhiraj Dev Goswami of APS Udhampur was awarded as the Best player of the tournament.
The Principal, Sanjeev Kumar congratulated the winners and encouraged the entire participants to perform better, emphasising the importance of games and sports in life.
