JAMMU: In a road accident at Greater Kailash area of Jammu city, a motorcyclist was crushed to death while the woman pillion rider was injured, who succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital.
According to a report, a truck (PB07AS 9550) hit a motorcycle (JK02AU 3362) near Greater Kailash area resulting into instant death of motorcyclist while the woman pillion rider succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital.
The deceased was identified as Manohar Lal, son of Saudagar Mal, resident of Ismailpur while woman was identified as Sunaina Jamwal, daughter of Laxman Singh, resident of Satire, Samba.
The injured woman was rushed to GMC Hospital Jammu where doctors declared her dead.
Police has registered a case vide FIR 88/2016 under section 279/337/304-A CrPC at Police Station Gangyal and launched the manhunt to nab the trucker who managed to escape from the spot.
