CBSE Inter School Sahodaya Football Tournament begins at JPWS;JK Public School Kunjwani wins opening tie in U-14 category

Jammu: JK Public School Kunjwani won the opening match in the three-day CBSE Inter School Sa-hodaya Football Tourna-ment being hosted at JP World School, here on Saturday.
In the opening match of under-14 category, JK Public School kunjwani players displayed extraordinary talent and thrashed Bhargava Public School Samba by four goals to nil. Jodhamal Public School defeated GD Goenka Public School by 2-0 in the same category.
JP World School defeated SOS Gmenier Public School by 2-0 while Jodhamal Public School defeated KC International School by 1-0 in undedr-19 category. Earlier the tournament was declared open by the Chief Guest, Ashok Singh Manhas, the Managing Trustee of JP World School, in the presence of Principal of the host School, Jitinder Singh Hundal. They wished good luck to participating teams and their coaches for the event.
In all, 22 teams from different CBSE schools are participating in this tournament in under-14 and under-19 age categories.
In the opening ceremony, students of APS Kaluchak, APS Damana, Jodhamal Public School, JK Public School Kunjwani, Bhargava Public School, GD Goenka Public School, Jammu Sanskriti School and SOS Gmenier Public School were present.
The tournament is being organised under the supervision of Physical Education Department of JPWS and school’s Football Coach Abhimanyu.
