KARGIL: Chief Engineer A.K Dikshit Project Vijayak (BRO) visited Zanskar region to review the various ongoing works of BRO in Zanaskar Sub-division. Ever since Dikshit, who is renowned in BRO circles for his integrity and dedication, has taken over as CE, BRO works in Zanskar Valley it has achieved a renewed boost, vigour and efficiency. BRO has had many achievements under his guidance, like construction of bridges at Ichar and Zangla, restoration of road connectivity to Anmu, post Phutkal damages- all in a quick timeframe. Meanwhile, villagers in Lugnak area Zanaskar Sub-division had arranged reception for A.K Dikshit, CE at many places and expressed their happiness and admiration for his dedication and the present BRO efforts for restoring road till Anmu.
The CE during his visit had resolved a lot of issues, which will contribute to added progress to the ongoing efforts of BRO to establish connectivity for Zanskar from Leh and Darcha sides.
