JAMMU: Decrying the move initiated by the State’s opposition parties including Con-gress and National Confe-rence to meet President of India Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi besides other leaders to discuss Kashmir unrest, All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) termed it as a political gimmick to seek political mileage.
M.R Bangotra (Retired CEO) and Prof. Kali Dass members AIBCU while addressing a meeting said that representatives of these political outfits did not suggested any solution or an alternate to resolve the crisis as they met the President and the Prime Minister without required home work just to satiate their political motives.
“The move is petty initiative by these parties to regain the lost political ground rather than resolving the unrest and prevailing cycle of death and destruction in the Valley”, the AIBCU leaders said adding that Omar Abdullah, G.A Mir and Tarigami should rather ask the parents to restrain their wards from stone-pelting and advice them to go to schools, colleges and universities.
