Police inspires students to avoid drugs, rash driving

JAMMU: In continuation to operation ‘Paathshala’ laun-ched by SSP Jammu, an anti drugs programme was organised by Sugandha Mahajan, Dy.SP, Headquarters Jammu here at United Public Higher Secondary School, Chhanni Himat on Saturday.
Students, school staff, SHO Chhanni Himmat and others were also present. Students were made aware about the drugs, their harmful effects in their life. The School Staff was also briefed about their roll and responsibility to prevent the students from drugs and make their future safe from this abuse. After that the students were also told about the road safety i.e. consequences of rash driving, wrong turn, driving without helmet, use of mobile phone while road crossing etc. through short video clips. Students were also made aware how they have to make their future career bright instead of indulging in drug abuse. The School Principal concluded the programme by thanking the participants and told the students to do it practically what they have learnt in the programme “Drive Against Drugs”.
