AKHNOOR: Wrestler Laloo from Jammu and Sukha from Jalandhar shared the Dangal title which ended in a tie.
Dangal was organised under the chairmanship of Parmanand and President Yash Pal Sharma at Panchayat Dhanna Jalara Chokichora (Aknoor). Speaking on the occasion, Parmanand said that the Dangal is being organized for the last 40 years in which large number of wrestlers from others states too took part. “The main purpose of this Dangal is to protect the young generation from drug menace and encourage them to live healthy and peaceful life,” Parmanand said. Bhushan Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Romy, Pandit Rattan Lal and Hari Dass were also present to promote the enthusiasm of the wrestlers.
