Students of Partap World School celebrate Raksha Bandhan with President

PATHANKOT: Students of Partap World School, Pathankot tied Rakhi to the President, Pranab Mukherjee on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi.
Students really felt motivated to the see the spirit of dedication and discipline among the officers on duty.
“It was an effort to connect our students with our rich heritage and culture,” school management said. The team comprised of Joint Secretary Sunny Mahajan, Secretary- Vishal Mahajan, Principal-Shubhra and four students-Shakura Kabir, Tarusha, Tanvi and Khushi. They tied Rakhi on President’s hand.
A special guided tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan was arranged for students where they saw Mughal Garden, Marble Museum, Ashoka Hall and Darbar Hall. Students were overwhelmed to see the great monuments and Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Four paintings made by students were also presented to them out of which one was made exclusively by Sunny Mahajan for the President of India.
