JAMMU: All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum expressed concern over the problems being faced by the Plus-2 lecturers at a meeting held here under the chairmanship of Working President, Deepak Sharma.
Sharma asked the government to ensure safety and security of all the government employees of School Education Department including principals, field advisors and lecturers from Jammu region working in Kashmir Valley before calling them to attend their duties considering the present unrest going on in the Valley.
The speakers urged Director School Education Jammu to affect transfer of lecturers at the earliest so as to provide relief to those working in far flung areas and provide staff as per requirement as per the transfer policy and complete the transfer process as early as possible.
When members present discussed that DDOs are not making entries in Service Books of the Lecturers engaged in teaching Remedial Classes/Summer Tutorials in government schools of Jammu Division during summer vacations 2016 for purpose of providing earned leave/cash in lieu, Sharma informed that he has already discussed the matter with Director School Education Jammu and she has assured that an order will be issued in a day or two for the same in this regard.
Speakers stressed upon achieving the benefit of running grade pattern to remove the worst type of stagnation in service of the Plus-2 community.
N.S. Jamwal, Advisor to the Forum urged the authorities to expedite the process of regularization of all the Incharge incumbents of the Plus-2 Cadre which has been pending for years together at the earliest.
Sharma informed the house that a team of forum members will move to Srinagar to impress upon the authorities to address their genuine demands as and when atmosphere is conducive in Kashmir.
