STATE TIMES NEWS
UDHAMPUR: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation demanded vigilance probe in the recent transfer list of Master Grade of Udhampur District issued by the Director School Education Jammu.
Led by District President Udhampur, K.L Gupta, the activists assembled under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh at Udhampur and raised slogans against the Education Department.
The members alleged that those having monetary relation with the transfer nexus are being transferred within zero to ten kilometers distance from the District Headquarters, whereas those who were posted more than 30 KMs, now are transferred more than 80 KMs away from the District Headquarters.
The so called Transfer Mela remained a flop show and the School Education authorities are befooling the teaching fraternity. They alleged that the School Education authorities are leaving no stone unturned to harass the innocent teachers who are dedicated, hard working, honest, intelligent but having no political/bureaucratic and monetary relations with the transfer nexus.
Gupta appealed to the Chief Minister to personally look into the matter and immediately cancel the transfer list of masters issued by the DSE Jammu and also demanded vigilance probe into the transfer scam.
Others who were present during the meeting include Ravi Kumar Vice President, Rakesh Kumar Organiser, Rakesh Sharma Convenor, Radha Krishan District Secretary, Surinder Mohan Zonal President Ghordi and Vijay Kumar.
