New Delhi: For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways will be introducing two express train service between Jammu and Haridwar and from Gorakahpur to Gomtinagar from August 15.
While the Jammu Haridwar – Jammu weekly express train will start from Jammu station, Gorakhpur – Gomtinagar – Gorakhpur daily Express will begin its regular journey from Gorakhpur on August 15.
The Haridwar – Jammu Tawi Weekly Express will depart from Haridwar at 5.10 PM on every Monday to reach Jammu at 4 AM the next day from August 15 while in the return direction, the Jammu Haridwar Weekly Express will depart from Jammu at 10.10 PM on every Sunday from August 21 to reach Haridwar at 10.25 AM the next day, according to a release. Consisting of one AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, nine sleeper class, five General Class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, the Jammu Haridwar – Jammu Weekly Express train will stop at Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Khanna, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala City, Jagadhari and Saharanpur stations enroute in both the directions.
