New Delhi: Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party and Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee on Wednesday urged President of India, Pranab Mukherjee to grant clearance to the Governor of J&K to impose Governor Rule under Section 92 of J&K Constitution as it has become evident from the ground situation in the State that the present government has failed to discharge its duty and the situation in the state is beyond its control.
Singh said that the Chief Minister has admitted that the situation is not under control which is also evident from the fact that she has started appealing to the militants and unrest mongers for cooperation in restoring peace and normalcy. He appealed to President of India for exercising his authority within the meaning and scope of Article 370 read with Section 92 of the Constitution of J&K to save the people of State from anarchy and disorder.
Singh also congratulated Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister for demonstrating courage and wisdom by visiting Pakistan this afternoon to attend SAARC Summit in Pakistan with a message of peace and brotherhood.
