JAMMU: Jammu Justice Secular Forum (JJSF) held protest against SPMR Commerce College Principal, Jammu.
Led by Vikram Singh, Provincial President JJSF, the protesting students under the supervision of Advocate Pushvinder Singh, State President JJSF assembled in front of main gate of GGM Science College and raised slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Chib said before one year, an applicant filed an application under J and K RTI Act, 2009, but the principal rejected the application on the plea that Rs 10 per page for 7200 pages amounting to more than Rs 70,000 be deposit first, which is against the J and K RTI Act, 2009.
He served an ultimatum of one week to principal for giving reply failing which JJSF would hold a strong agitation against the Higher Education Department and principal too.
Others present in the protest were Clinton, Sumit, Ritesh, Vivek, Prince, Shivam, Akhil, Shubu, Sharad, Vikas, Sahil, Royal, Surya, Opinder, Dilawar, Abhimanyu and Bhanu.
