KATRA: Police on Monday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 37 pouches of liquor from his possession at Katra.
According to a report, acting on a specific information, a police team of Police Station Katra headed by Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Police Station Katra laid a special Naka at Balini and during checking/frisking, the police recovered of 37 pouches of J and K excise liquor from the possession of Ishfaq Mohd son of Monzoor Mohd resident of village Dasanoo district Reasi who was on way towards holy town Katra. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 142/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra.
