Adopt similar approach towards assesses: CTF

JAMMU: Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) urged upon the Income Tax Department to adopt a similar approach towards its assesses in all the regions of the J&K State. The federation expressed gratitude to the department for extending the date for submission of IT returns till 31st August in J and K State.
President CTF, Neeraj Anand thanked Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu and the officials of Finance and Commercial Taxes Department who have responded positively to the appeal for deferment of Vat Tax payment and returns. He further said that working in synergy with all the stakeholders CTF claimed that a better understanding awareness and steady persuasion can go a long way in creating mutual trust and better results as desired by one and all.
The meeting was attended by Parveen Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Balwinder Singh, Vinay Gupta, Yash Paul Gupta, Attar Singh, Chander Gulati and Vinod Mahajan.
