District Poonch Hockey Championship:Stadium Blue to face Power House in senior men’s final

POONCH: Stadium XI shall take on Power House in senior men’s final in the two-day District Poonch Hockey Championship, organised by Hockey Poonch under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at Sports Stadium, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the preliminary round of the competition, Stadium Blue defeated Stadium Orange-B 3-0. Sohil (2nd ), Imran (28th) and Shobit (49th) were the scorers.
Meanwhile, in sub-junior boys’ category, Stadium Blue shall be playing against Power House Hockey Club.
In the initial round on Monday, Stadium Orange blanked Stadium XI 4-0. Shahid (5th), Kavleen (11th), Rahul (27th), Akash (44th) were the scorers. Earlier, the competition was declared open jointly by DFO, Mohan Choudhary and DySP Headquarters, Mohd Rafi Giri.
Others present were Nirdosh Kumar, Tanveer Dar, Ramesh Kumar, Mustaq Ahmed and Ravinder Singh. Matches were officiated by Mukesh Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Satish, Sohail, Kavaldeep Singh and Rohit.
This championship is being organised under the overall supervision of Vice President of Hockey J and K, Sham Lal Sharma.
