All Jammu Civil Society Forum launched

JAMMU: In view of present turmoil and prevailing circumstances in the State, civil society member of Jammu region on Monday launched All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF) with Gulchain Singh Charak, President Dogra Sadar Sabha as its Convenor. Abdul Majid was nominated as Co-Convener.
The office bearers of the Forum were nominated in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Annil Suri, former President Bari-Brahmana Industrial Association.

Talking to reporters here today, Y.V Sharma dwelt in detail the aims and objects of the Forum.
Forum appealed to all sections of civil society to come forward to maintain peace and tranquility in the State in view of the prevailing circumstances.
The participants pledged to work tirelessly for the furtherance of the aims and objects of the forum. The Convener and the Co-Convener were also authorised to tour all the districts of Jammu province and constitute district bodies as well.
