SRINAGAR: Former Minister and leader of Indian National Congress, Sham Lal Sharma called on Governor N.N Vohra, here on Thursday. Sharma apprised the Governor about his Party’s views on the obtaining law and order situation in the State and the difficulties being faced by the people. While meeting with Governor Sham Lal discussed various important issues relating to present turmoil in the Valley. Sham discussed issues related to Shri Amarnath Yatra and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra with the Governor.
He also discussed the prevailing situation in the Valley which is under curfew for the last 12 days. He requested Governor to advise authorities to adopt public relation policies and not public anoying policies during present extreme crisis. Governor urged Sharma to continue sustained initiatives for the very early restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
