R S PURA : A youth identified as Aman Gill (23) son of Thomas Gill resident of Village Rangpur Basti, RS Pura was killed when his Scooty rammed into a parked tanker late in the evening on Wednesday. According to source the youth was going to his friend’s house on Sctooty which dashed into a parked tanker due to which he suffered a head injury. He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital RS Pura where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
Samba: One person died on spot when his motorcycle (JK21-9194) hit a school bus on Vijaypur-Ramgarh road near Main Bazar Vijaypur. Vijaypur Police reached the spot and sent the dead body to Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh for postmortem and later handed over to family members. The deceased was identified as Dimple Kumar (31) son of Bishan Dass resident of village Patti (Vijaypur). Meanwhile, three persons got injured in a head-on collision between two cars (9626/JK02R and 9684 /JK02BF) near Domail. The injured were identified as Sharda Devi (28) wife of Surinder Kumar, his daughter Nancy (7) and his son Banshu Salotra (5) resident of Kothiyaan.
Meanwhile, an accident took place near Nomai when A Mahindra Load Carrier bearing registration number JK02BC-2283 got uncontrolled and struck with a shop on the road side. In the mishap, three persons got injuries who later shifted to hospital.
