JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) conducted special Taekwondo Poomsae training camp for the girl trainees at coaching centre of an academy, presently operating from Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha complex, Parade, here.
Around 30 girls participated and learned the latest techniques of Poomsae event during the camp. Finally, four girls were selected for the final selections of forthcoming events, a handout issued here on Friday informed. Selected girls are Geeta Devi, Mehak, Sita Devi and Madhu.
International player and Physical Education Teacher (PET) with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Atul Pangotra was Resource Person in the training camp. Anuj Sharma was Organising Secretary of this special camp.
Meanwhile, President of the Association, P.C Sharma and General Secretary, JKTA D.N Pangotra appreciated the young girl participants for their commitment and spirit and wished them all success.
