JAMMU: Expressing concern over continuing unrest in Kashmir Valley and loss of human lives, Zone president of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Jammu West Puneet Singh Jamwal on Thursday urged youth to maintain restrain and give peace a chance. He said that coalition government headed by chief minister Mehbooba Mufti is pained over the developments and has definite plans for socio-economic development of Jammu and Kashmir that has been prepared as per the vision of late chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
He said youth are the backbone of any nation and they must not get mislead by forces that are inimical to peace.
Appealing for calm Puneet said that loss of lives and properties is unfortunate and it should not have happened. He urged parents and their wards not to put their lives at stake and give peace a chance. This unrest, he added will ultimately end in peace but the lives lost will not return.
