Vimarsh, Praful guide Oriental Club to 86-run win in KPs T20

JAMMU: Vimarsh Kaw’s half-century on the back of Praful Dhar’s six-wicket haul highlighted Oriental Cricket Club’s 86-run win over Shardha Cricket Club in the third match of the ongoing First Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs 2016 being organised by Krish Sports and Events, at KC College Ground, here on Wednesday.
Batting first, Vimarsh Kaw, who scored a valiant 52 runs, guided Oriental Cricket Club to give a challengeable target of 144 runs for the loss of four wickets to the opponent. Puneet Wattal and Chander added 32 and 23 runs respectively to the total. Ankush and Sandeep shared one wicket each for Shardha Cricket Club.
In reply, Shardha Cricket Club was restricted to 58 for 10 in 15 overs on the back of Praful Dhar’s best figures, six for four runs from three overs. Ankush and Ave Kachroo were the only batsmen who touched double figures with 16 and 14 runs respectively. Sunny Parihar took one wicket.
For his match winning bowling performance, Praful Dhar was declared Man of the Match.
Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel including Rakesh and Sunny as Umpires and Fiaz as Scorer.
