Govt should ensure safety of Amarnath pilgrims: Shiv Sena Samajwadi

JAMMU: On the instruction of Kamlesh Bharadwaj, National President Shiv Sena Samajwadi Party, a meeting of party workers was held here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Parbhari, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir, Dorthi.
Talking to reporters, Dorthi appealed to State Government to ensure safety of Shri Amarnath pilgrims and take steps to ensure smooth conduct of Yatra in wake of unrest in Kashmir Valley.
On the occasion, she also appointed Manish Kumar Parcha as Senior Vice President, Jammu and Kashmir of the party and asked him to work tirelessly to strengthen the party at grass root level in the State.
Senior Vice President Yuva Morcha Punjab Deepak Kumar, Raju Bhatti, Heera, Happy, Babli, Herdev Singh Thakur, Rattan Lal, Surinder Kumar, Bhola Singh, Jagtar, Sabi Gurdaspuria and Bodh Raj were also present in the meeting.
Earlier, Dorthi along with party members also visited Yatri Niwas, a Base Camp of Amarnath pilgrims to enquire the condition of pilgrims. She interacted with pilgrims and listened to their well being.
