Restore law and order in Valley forthwith: Azad

JAMMU: Expressing serious concern on the deteriorating law and order situation in the Valley in which irreparable collateral damage has taken place, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and General Secretary All India Congress Committee, Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sunday said that the need of the hour is to ensure that the law and order is restored at the earliest without any further loss of lives. Azad also expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely death of more than 19 people during the violence in various parts of the Kashmir Valley. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family in this hour of grief. Azad also wished speedy recovery of those more than 200 civilians and security personnel who were injured during the violence.
