JAMMU: Young Panthers (YP) on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on BJP-PDP Government for releasing anti-national stone pelters of Kashmir province who protested against India and attacked the army of India.
Addressing a press conference at party headquarters, Advocate Pushvinder Singh, Senior Vice-President, Young Panthers, said that withdrawal of the cases against the anti-national elements of Kashmir province will further boost their morale to hold anti-national activities and demoralise the army.
He condemned the move of PDP-BJP Government to categorise the anti-national stone pelters of Kashmir province and the pro-India youth of Jammu province who took to the streets after their religious sentiments were hurt by the then government by denying the land for providing facilities for Amarnath Yatris during the Amarnath Yatra in 2008.
Pushvinder expressed dismay over the inordinate delay caused by the BJP-PDP Government in withdrawing cases against the people of Jammu region who were booked during the 2008 Baba Amarnath Land Row despite written assurance of the government to withdraw the same.
Young Panthers demanded that criminal cases against all the Amarnath Land Row agitators must be immediately withdrawn and the orders whereby the cases against the anti-national stone pelters have been withdrawn may be immediately revoked.
Others who were present on the occasion include Advocate Vilakshan Singh, State Gen. Secy, Young Panthers, Atul Sudan, Provincial Secy, Young Panthers and Clinton Sharma, District President, Young Panthers.
