Dear Editor,
It is beyond comprehension that when, as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, there is a proposal of 23.55 per cent overall increase in the salaries of employees, why should the Cabinet Secretary’s salary be hiked by 277 per cent? The Cabinet Secretary’s salary will be increased from Rs 90,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh! No reasoning, no formula. What will happen to our country? Can anyone stop this loot of public money?
