KISHTWAR: To provide their right at the door steps, ACR Kishtwar distributed more than 70 lakh to the public of Keshwan area of Kishtwar Distt.
The public received more than RS 70 Lakh as compensation for the structures coming under the alignment and under damages caused due to construction of Anjole-Keshwan road. ACR Kishtwar Dr Khalid Malik in the capacity of Collector Land Acquisition visited the said road and disbursed the compensation among the landowners of the area, after inspection of work and damages caused to the public.
According to reports, the first instalment was received and there were few complaints regarding the various issues which were resolved before the public on the spot.
Besides ACR Kishtwar , Naib Tehsildar ,Patwari ,lamardar ,Panchayat members and prominent persons were present in the disbursement camp.
The public of Keshwan has hailed the move of administration facilitating the public for disbursement of compensation in a fair and transparent manner at their door step.
According to reports, Dr Khalid as Collector Land Acquisition has disbursed more then 13 crores as compensation among the beneficiaries under various scheme of roads, building and Power projects of District Kishtwar in a transparent manner since May 2015 which has generated a full swing faith on the work style of the officer.
