JAMMU: Baba Bhair Dev Sthan Trust on Friday demanded constructing 2- kms road from Katal Batal to Devsthan, setting of a picnic cum culture spot in the vicinity and also construction of all weather sheds for pilgrims visiting the Devsthan to seek the blessing of Kuldevta throughout the year. Addressing a meeting of trust at Devsthan, Trust General Secretary, Romesh Sharma said that in spite of lakh of pilgrims visiting the holy place every day no development has been done by the administration as well as public representatives of previous regime.
While appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her vigorous efforts for developing religious places in J and K, Sharma urged her to visit this holy place and include this place in the tourist map of Jammu also, adding that the same is going to provide direct and indirect employment to youth, besides the development of the area.
Prominent social activists Subash Shastri, Sarpanch Bahvant Singh, Girdhari Lai Sharma, Om Parkash, Subash Sharma, Joginder Singh and Ashok Kumar were also present in the meeting.
